The 9th album by Metallica released in 2008 with a new bassist and producer Rick Rubin. This album returned to the band’s original thrash roots with complex compositions and long guitar solos.
I stopped listening to Metallica after the Black album but this one gave me hope that my favorite thrash band of all time was back!
