This new design “Houser” for the new year is based off a rug my Nali wove for me last year. The edges of the rug and the inside design have this pattern woven in miraculous symmetry. She’s the reason why I’ve taken this path as a creative person, I spent many nights sitting on her lap watching her weave and even helping to tap down the wool strands from time to time.
